Principles of the Faith |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Hebrews 6:1-2 lists the foundational doctrines of
the Christian faith, and this sermon explains these principles: repentance
from dead works; faith towards God; baptisms (baptism in water, and baptism
of the Holy Ghost); laying on of hands; resurrection; and, eternal judgments.
This message will be particularly helpful to the young Christian seeking
to build on his salvation experience to grow with sound doctrine.

The Benefits of Loving God
|
9 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Psalm 103 encourages us to bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits. Sister Dailey encourages us to consider some of the many benefits there are for those who love Him with all their hearts. God daily loads us with benefits (Psalm 68:19) — salvation, healing, and deliverance out of all our afflictions and troubles. The list goes on and on . . . Folly or Faithfulness? |
12 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The priesthoods of Eli and Samuel are a picture
of two camps that exist within the church world today. One is not blessed;
the other is. This message looks at these men and clearly instructs us
how to be in the camp that is blessed. Also listen to the companion Folly
or Faithfulness? audio version of this message.

Going God's Way |
8 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The children of Israel had a pattern of going God's
way then turning to their own way. When they turned from God — doing
what was right in their own eyes — they suffered the consequences.
When they returned to God and obeyed Him they were blessed. This principle
is still true for New Testament believers. This message will strengthen
your resolve to do things God's way and live under the blessing of God.
|
|||
Faithfulness, Not Stubbornness
|
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
How important is it to be faithful in everything?
This message looks at examples of faithfulness — and stubborn unfaithfulness
— as described in Hebrews Chapter 3, verses 1 through 15.
|
|||
The First Lie . . . Still Potent Today |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The serpent said to the woman, "Ye shall NOT
surely die." This marks the point; the beginning: the first lie ever
told to man. Satan twisted God's Word to form a lie, to deceive man into
believing it was all right to go contrary to what God had said. Man bought
into the lie and suffered the consequences of which God had so clearly
warned. Satan's tactics haven't changed. Let this message minister to
you so you don't fall prey to the lies of the devil yourself.

Beware of False Teachers
|
14 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The Scriptures warn us to beware of false prophets
and false teachers, who subvert souls my leading them away from the truth
of the God's Word and into deceitful doctrines of men. To guard ourselves
against the dangers of these heresies, we must study, embrace and obey
God's Word so that we will be able to discern God's truth from the enemy's
falsehoods. Some important doctrines of the Bible, like holy living and
separation from the world, today are ridiculed by preachers who lead weak
believers into sin.
|
|||
A Lying Spirit |
12 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
King Jehoshaphat was a godly man, but he made a
mistake that nearly cost him his life: he joined forces with the evil
king of Israel, and gave ear to deceitful men presenting themselves as
prophets of God. That story serves the basis for this sermon that warns
us of the dangers of listening to people who stray for the truth of the
Bible. The Scriptures give us many warnings to help us from being deceived
by false prophets and deceitful men in the last days. This sermon highlights
a few of the biblical passages on this timely subject.

Finding the Sure Mercies of David
|
12 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
God's mercy toward David when he sinned should encourage
us to seek God for the same mercy when we have sinned. It is important
to our spiritual well-being that we seek repentance and forgiveness when
we have failed Him. Restoration may require that we make things right
with man as well as with God, and may even involve chastisement, but the
fruit of it all is peace within.
|
|||
God's Rebuke Against Worldliness
|
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The Apostle James penned one of God's strongest
rebukes of worldliness among God's people. James wrote of the corruptive
impact of carnal desires, fleshly lusts, ungodly affections out of control
and outside God's provisions. Such brutish ways lead to prayers unaswered,
wars and killings. Today, a shamefully common example of this worldliness
in the church is divorce and re-marriage, resulting in the very adultery
James so clearly reproved.

Is Your Head in the Lap of the Enemy |
15 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The contrasting characters of young Joseph and the
young Samson provide the background for this sermon on the subject of
staying pure and being faithful to God through our early years. The fulfillment
of the call and will of God is the ultimate goal of a determined dedication
to God and to righteousness. Samson was highly anointed by God with super-human
strength, but failed in a tragic end because he allowed his sin to overtake
him. Joseph was victimized into bondage by cruel brothers and false accusers,
yet maintained his purity before God, and in the end was richly rewarded.
This message will strength your resolve to be found faithful before God.

Knowing the True from the False |
15 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Pastor Dailey describes a series of visions the
Lord gave him in a visitation in 1988, concerning the attack of Satan
on the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days. The Lord revealed the
subtly deceptive work of the enemy to portray himself as an angel of light
who works in evil men of our day to publish false messages and doctrines
that subvert men's souls from the truth. These revelations recall Scriptural
examples of deception, and warn us to be vigilant against this very harmful
onslaught.

Self-Willed |
15 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
A self-willed person is a great burden to himself,
to his family, to everyone around him. How sad that many Christians were
raised by Mom from their infancy to be stubborn and head-strong. Then
they struggle throughout life with the heavy burden and consequences of
this sin. This sermon will help you identify this prevalent problem and
guide you in seeking victory over it.
|

Presumptuous Sins |
10 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
From the pages of the Old Testament we study the
lives of Absalom, Adonijah and Uzziah to learn about presumptuous sins
- treading over forbidden territory, encroaching on the spiritual office
of God's ministers, acting out with undue confidence, resisting godly
authority. The awful consequences to those who allowed presumptuous sins
into their lives serve as stern warnings to us through this sermon.

How Long Will You Turn My Glory into Shame? Part
1How Long Will You Turn My Glory into Shame? Part 2 |
27 pages |
Wayne Dailey | |
|
These are long, thoughtful and meaty messages to instruct and challenge God's people in God's holy and glorious ways. Many Scripture passages are examined to illustrate God's desire for glory among His people. Examples from the lives of the Apostle Paul and King David reveal His ways, but above all we see Jesus as the perfect example of the glory God longs to share with believers. In Part 2 you will find exhortations on conduct in your home, and particularly in your marriage, that glorify and please God. Also listen to the companion audio sermons: |

Humility |

I Thought! |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Two little words, "I thought!". . . but
how much trouble they can cause us! Oh, how we need to learn to lay aside
our thoughts and take up God's thoughts. See in this message by Pastor
Patricia Dailey how a man with a great need almost missed his miracle
because of his thoughts.
|
|||
Humility |
8 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The Bible says, God resists the proud but gives
grace to the humble (James 4:6). This message clearly shows
the blessings that come from humility and the suffering that results from
pride. The choice is ours -- to humble ourselves or to be humbled by God.
|
|||
Who Am I? |
11 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
King David possessed the virtue of humility, despite
the greast successes of his life and the glory of his position as king
over Israel. When God told him that He was going to bless his house, David's
response was to wonder out loud, "Who am I?" Moses had a similar
response when God appeared to him to send him to deliver the children
of from Egypt's bondage. This sermon is an exhortation to pursue humility,
especially in our relationship with the Lord.
|
|||
Marvelously Helped ...Until ... |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Young King Uzziah started out well, with good intentions,
lots of energy, and a heart to seek God. As long as he served God he found
His blessings attend to him, and he prospered in his many endeavors. But
in his prosperity Uzziah later lost sight of the Lord, became proud and
failed terribly. His life offers a stark lesson in the danger of abandoning
God for our own carnal ways.
|
|||
Who Gets the Glory? |
12 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The sin of pride can diminish the work of the ministry.
Some people seek attention for themselves in the things they do for God;
they should instead seek only the glory of God and the advancement of
His kingdom. Some are drawn into pride because they have talents and gifts
that others flatter; that flattery often leads to self-exaltation. How
much better to take on humble attitudes like those Jesus and Paul taught
and exemplified. Our goal should be to lift up Jesus in everything we
do for Him.
|
|||
Swift to Hear |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The Old Testament is full of examples to guide Christians
in a godly walk. One essential lesson we can glean from the troubles of
the Israelites is the benefit of listening to the instructions of God,
spoken through His servants and through the Scriptures, and to obey those
instructions. If we learn to listen and obey, we invite the blessings
of a loving God and are spared much suffering and many troubles.

Going Down to Come Up |
9 pages | Judy DiZazzo | |
|
God is thorough and patient in the work He undertakes
to prepare His servant for ministry. If you are feeling His dealings,
this message will encourage and guide your heart. You will be exhorted
to accept sufferings and other undesirable circumstances as God's way
of building humility and obedience deep in your heart. And you will be
encouraged to press through all these experiences so as to receive the
reward of a fruitful life that glorifies God.

The Little Foxes revised
|
8 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
A great source of strength for Christians is our
joy in the Lord. When we lose our joy, we can lose our determination to
serve God, to weather the storms, to press on. So Satan sends against
us whatever he can to rob us of our joy. Often it isn't the big challenge
that defeats our joy, but rather the little annoyances of everyday life,
the "little foxes" that spoil the tender vine of its fruit.
This message will reveal the methods of your adversary, and teach you
to guard yourself against allowing carnal reactions to overtake you.

Long Duration Trials |
8 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
None of us likes trials and hardships — especially
those that try us to the limit. There's no light at the end of the tunnel.
In fact, the more we pray, nothing happens or things get worse. Has God
left us or failed us? A deeper understanding of how God works in these
trials can turn our darkness into light and sadness into joy. Draw encouragement
from this message by Pastor Patricia Dailey.

Faint, Yet Pursuing |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
At times, spiritual battles go on and on and on,
seemingly without end. Yet, God brings the victory at the right time.
In the meanwhile, we need strength to keep on going and hold our faith.
Let this message encourage you to seek the Lord, wait on the Lord, draw
strength from the Lord, and hold onto His promises until victory comes.

The Day That Finds You in Despair |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
There's the day that finds you in despair. You don't
know what to do. You're despairing what to do. You're not in the sunshine
now; you're in the shadows. You don't know what things are going to turn
out like, what you may have to forbear: but you do know this: you can't
give in! This message will help put faith and a backbone in you during
hard times of testing.

|||
In the Army of the Lord |
10 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
What would happen if soldiers in the battle got
discouraged, laid down their weapons and quit fighting? Unfortunately,
that's often what we do, as soldiers of the cross in the army of the Lord.
We can't lie down and die when things get tough or when the devil wages
an all out attack. Let this message put a backbone in you to stand up
and fight the good fight of faith.
|

Standing Still |

What should you do when you're backed against a
wall, facing an insurmountable problem? This message presents clear, scriptural
directions, which, if followed, will ensure victory.

Lord Help Me |
14 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
God has real answers for real problems in the lives
of real people like you. Whatever troubles you face or sins drive your
life, when you seriously and sincerely turn to Christ with repentance
and prayer, He will make a way out for you.

Comforted |
14 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Paul wrote to the Corinthian church to comfort them
in their troubles, using his life as an example of the Lord's help through
his many persecutions and sufferings. He thanked the church for their
support and their prayers for him. This interchange between the Gospel
worker and the church should exhort us to faithfully pray for and support
missionaries and other workers in God's vineyard.
|
|||
Fret Not |
15 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
King David learned to trust God through his trials,
and exhorted us to resist the temptation to fear and fret. When we praise
the Lord in our troubles, we invite God to intervene for us. As Christians
we are taught by the Scriptures and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be
tenderhearted, and the first place to exercize this grace is in the home,
between husband and wife.
|
|||
Prepared Through Trials
|
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The Apostle Paul faced many trials in his service
for Christ. Near the end of his ministry Paul exemplified the spiritual
perspective he had learned from his many experiences and sufferings: a
strong faith in God in the face of very difficult circumstances. We can
take courage from his example to know that God is always in control and
always with us in every storm of life to work His perfect will in our
lives.
|
|||
Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Troubles in many nations and problems without answers
seem to plague our age. Though the world staggers and worries about these
conditions, God's people should rest in the assurance that the Lord forewarned
us that the last days would be like this. We can abide in peace though
the world shake with turmoil. Jesus promised us an eternal home in heaven
free from all the sufferings of this world, and taught us to cast all
our cares upon Him, Who is able to help us in any situation.

Endure Hardness As a Good Soldier
|
10 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Christians who are serious in their commitment to
God are taught in the Scriptures that they will face persecutions, testings
and sufferings. So they should prepare their hearts and minds to continue
faithfully serving God despite whatever hardships they will face. The
goal of this sermon is to encourage Christ's servants to remain true to
Him through all their troubles and afflictions.
|
|||
Psalm 142 |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
David suffered many things as a young man running
for his life from the jealous rage of King Saul. He sometimes felt that
there was no place to hide and no refuge of safety; friends had left him
and all hope seemed gone. In those times David learned first hand the
power of prayer, the fruits of faith, and the faithfulness of God when
all else and everyone else fails.
|
|||
Deliverance |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The activity of the devil in the lives of men is
a topic Jesus often addressed in His earthly ministry, always from His
position of complete authority over Satanic forces. Drawing on relevant
Gospel passages and from four decades of experience in fighting the devil,
Pastor Dailey shares insights and exhortations on how to overcome the
devil and stay free.
|
|||
Living in the Pressure Cooker |
9 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Christians often face pressures in life that don't
seem to have an explanation. This message offers understanding as to the
purpose behind such pressures: the preparation of the believer for greater
challenges and service to the Lord in the future. The message will also
encourage you to bear up to these pressures, with the assurance that God
will test you only to the level for which He has prepared you.
|
|||
God Will Fight for You |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Fear and faith often battle within the believer's
heart and mind when he faces a crisis. King Jehoshaphat encountered a
day when numerous of his enemies gathered against him with their great
armies to destroy him. His first reaction was to fear. But soon faith
arose as he remembered the great promises of God and His faithfulness
to Israel throughout its history. Then God anointed His prophet to encourage
all the people to trust in Him. If you are feeling the need for a boost
to your faith, this message will help you.
|
|||
The Way of Peace |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Preaching from several texts in the Book of Isaiah,
Pastor Dailey exhorts on the peace of God, and in particular as it is
exemplified in the life of Jesus. Whether facing a raging storm on the
sea, the judgment hall of Pontius Pilate, or even the cruel sufferings
of Calvary, the Master never lost His deep peace. His was not a peace
from pleasant circumstances, but the abiding peace of God. And it is that
peace that He wants to give us also.
|
|||
Contending for the Faith
|
16 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Through this sermon faithful Christians are urged
to contend for the fundamentals of our faith in our closing days of apostasy.
Recognizing the wickedness of our generation and its many parallels with
the times of Noah and of Lot, we must maintain our own faithfulness to
God, keeping our own soul and keeping busy in spiritual endeavors. But
going beyond, we must earnestly contend in prayer for the restoration
of treasures the Church once had: the power of God, the outpouring of
the Holy Spirit, the manifestation of spiritual gifts.

The Battle of Jericho: Obedience and
Faith |
9 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The story of Jericho is the background for this
sermon on having great faith in God in the midst of the battle. As Joshua
and Israel prepared to enter the Promised Land, God gave Joshua an angel's
visitation to assure him of God's supernatural help and to direct his
battle plans. God's strategy included six days of silent marching and
a great shout on the seventh day. Foolish things in the eyes of some!
But for God's obedient people that day these were the keys that brought
glorious victory.
|
|||
Standing Your Ground
|
18 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
This is an exhortation to Christians to stand firm
in the face of opposition and threats from the enemy. The Scriptures
offer us the example of Shammah, a man who stood alone against the enemies
of his day while all his fellow Israelites fled in fear. We can
also follow the courage and faith of young David overcoming Goliath when
all the soldiers trembled in fear.
|
|||
Losing Your Grip |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Preached on several occasions some years ago, this
sermon draws a lesson from the life of King David on the importance of
maintaining our Christian experience through the battles of life. The
great warrior David, who as a young man single-handedly slew the giant,
in the midst of his mature years was almost killed by another giant. He
grew weary and loosened his grip on his sword. Had it not been for a young
ally running to his rescue, David would have been killed. This message
is like the young ally rushing to rescue you from complancency, weariness,
or spiritual laziness.

Perfection |
9 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
God's Word says we should be perfect, even as God
is perfect. What does that mean? Can we really be perfect? If so, how?

This message looks at the process of going on to perfection and how to
grow spiritually.

The Fruit of Love, Joy and Peace |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Jesus, for an example, taught that a good fruit
tree brings forth good fruit and a bad tree brings forth bad fruit. Christians
are supposed to bear the good fruit of the Spirit. This message looks
at bearing the fruit of love, joy and peace in our lives.
|

How Are Your Priorities? |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Every successful person sets priorities and lives
by them. Living a successful Christian life is no different. However,
for the Christian, what matters is to live by God's priorities, not one's
own. What is top on the list of God's priorities for you? Read this
message and see.

Lessons From Ruth |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
In this message Sister Dailey takes us through the
book of Ruth, sharing rich lessons from Ruth's example of what it is to
be stedfast in our walk with the Lord. We don't want to be among those
who start out wholeheartedly with the Lord, only to slack off and get
sidetracked to other pursuits.
|

Deal Bountifully |
16 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
A sure way to grow spiritually and reap God's bountiful
blessings is to approach God's Word with the right attitude. We should
be determined to hear, read, study and, most of all, obey God's Word.
When the Scriptures point out things in our lives that displease God,
we should allow the Holy Spirit to change us. This sermon exhorts us in
good attitudes towards the Scriptures.
|
|||
Condemnation or Trial? |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
This sermon offers practical Christian advice for
living joyfully and victoriously. The first lesson teaches us how to distinguish
between feelings of condemnation that come from the devil versus those
that come from unrepented sin. The second lesson explains how carnal and
negative thinking and talking can rob us of joy, fellowship and faith.
The purpose of both lessons is to encourage faith and victory in our walk
with God.
|
|||
What, Shall We Continue in Sin?
|
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
This sermon addresses a fundamental truth missing
in the lives of many Christians in today's church world: victory over
sin. Believers fed on unbiblical ideas about grace may not have realized
that grace came to give them victory over sin, not victory in sin. Pastor
Dailey gives a detailed exhortation from Romans 6 & 7, including the
struggle with sin that the Apostle Paul experienced, to teach us that
we must mortify the sinful deeds of the flesh and walk in the Spirit of
God.

Cast Thy Bread upon the Water |
11 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Scripture teaches us that Christians should be filled
with good works. And the Bible gives us many real examples of godly people
who followed that teaching. Among them are Dorcas, the faithful worker
in the early church whom Peter raised from the dead, the Old Testament
saint Job, and the Good Samaritan in the parable of Jesus. This sermon
exhorts us to show the same compassion and Christ-like virtue in our lives
as we interact with needy people.
|
|||
Run to Win |
13 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Hebrews Chapter 12 exhorts us to discard all influences
in our lives that hinder us from running successfully the Christian race.
Common hindrances discussed in this sermon are: getting overwhelmed with
natural activities to the detriment of spiritual duties; getting impatient
with God; developing bad attitudes toward God; not being steadfast in
our relationship with Christ; and, besetting sins.

Tender Plants |
16 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Newborn Christians are like tender young plants:
both need delicate care and nurturing to enable them to grow until they
are strong enough to thrive on their own. The milk of God's Word is the
spiritual food for young Christians, messages that build up and direct
their hearts into a deeper love for God. But many young believers stumble
in their early years, some never to recover. Jesus gave us the Parable
of the Sower to help us understand the reasons for the failures of some,
and ways to avoid such failures.

Peace I Leave with You |
12 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Jesus left us His peace when He departed from the
earth to return to heaven. His peace is not like the temporary peace that
the world offers. His peace can abide within a Christian despite troubles
and difficult circumstances. Christ's peace also is a fruit of the Spirit
of God we can bear in our lives. This sermon explores the source and nature
of God's peace in us.
|
|||
Deny Yourself and Follow Me |
12 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Christ taught us by word and by example that we
should deny ourselves and obey God's will for our lives. He taught us
that true discipleship is a daily commitment to the Father's will and
denial of self-centeredness. His greatest example was His willingness
to obey His Father to the death of the cross. Paul took up that challenge
when he wrote that he died daily. This sermon teaches the necessity for
Christians to deny self, the selfish examples of the world, and the natural
tendency to please self, and instead to obey God's will every day.

Going the Last Mile |
18 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Did Jesus really mean to turn the other cheek, go
the second mile, and pray for our enemies? Let's learn from the lives
of Isaac and David. We'll see wonderful examples of spiritual men with
the love of God so deeply ingrained in their meek characters that they
did truly turn the other cheek. As we follow their examples, we'll reap
the same blessings they received, the peace of God and His hand to bless
us and to defeat our enemies.

|
From Christ's Sermon on the Mount comes this message
on the subject of the Beatitudes, virtues of the fruitful Christian life.
In this message we learn that meekness, spiritual empathy and concern,
love of mercy, hunger for God's righteousness, purity of heart, and making
peace are all attributes from God manifest in a fruit-bearing Christian.

Number Your Days |

Time is the one element in every life that must
come to an end. Whether we have already travelled many days or are only
treading our early years, we should appreciate every moment for its opportunity
to serve God. How we use this precious commodity on this earth has a great
bearing on our eternal reward. This sermon will exhort you to live with
an eternal perspective on the days you have remaining.

Through the analogy of the fruitful tree and the
well-tended garden, this sermon illustrates the importance of cultivating
our spiritual lives. Whether it is the preparation of the soil, or the
watering of the plant, or the weeding out of harmful and unwelcome invaders,
the gardener must work continuously to nurture the plants he want to see
flourish. Likewise, a diligent Christian must apply himself to the work
of preparing his heart for the seed of God's Word, watering it daily,
and guarding it from its common enemies of pleasures, riches and cares.
This is a pleasant sermon to read with a deep message.

Let This Mind Be in You |
16 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The Scriptures offer us the perfect example of Jesus
Christ in total obedience to the will of His Father. Jesus left His glory
in heaven to take on the earthly form of a humble servant, to fulfill
the will of His Father, even to the death of Calvary. His disciples are
instructed to have the same mind to obey the Father. Our obedience starts
with our response to the gospel call to salvation, and continues with
our reverently working out that salvation before God in yielding to the
guidance and dealings of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, our minds and
our consciences.

Behaving Wisely in the Home
|
13 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The Scriptures describe the young man David as behaving
wisely in all his situations. He serves as our example in this message
on the proper behavior we should adopt in the Christian home. The exhortation
addresses mothers and fathers in their responsibilities before God to
raise children in a Godly fashion. It also addresses children in their
accountability to honor and obey their Christian parents. The overall
goal is to order the home as a sanctuary of love and peace that God can
bless.

Charity |

|
Based on the text of 1 Corinthians 13, commonly
described as the "love chapter", Sister Dailey exhorts Christians
to bear the fruit of charity in our interactions with people. In particular,
she offers practical ways of exercising the virtue of longsuffering in
dealing with difficult people and situations, and the virtue of humility
as we use the talents and gifts God has given us for the benefit of others.

Read this message of hope if you are experiencing
a thirsting for a deeper relationship with God but don't know where to
turn for help. Preaching from Ezekiel 37, Pastor Dailey exhorts those
who suffer through the ceremonialism and social message of a lifeless
church to rise up in faith and find an assembly where the full gospel
of salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit are preached and experienced
by believers. There you will fing fullness of joy and satisfaction for
your thirsting soul.

Forgiving |

The words of Jesus from His Sermon on the Mount
are the basis for this message on forgiveness. The blessedness of being
quick to forgive an offense, and of humbling ourselves to seek forgiveness
when we have offended, is contrasted with the hurt we bring on ourselves
when we hold feeling against others, carrying such matters to Jugement
when the Judge teaches us to correct those things while were are here
on earth.

In troubled times God is a faithful helper. He is
always ready to support His children and to see them through every challenge.
God can provide for your natural needs in supernatural ways. But we should

have surrendered their will to God's will, to those who are sold out to
Him.

to place our faith entirely in the Lord and cast our problems on Him.

Faith is a central element of our relationship with
God, and He works to teach, encourage and challenge us to use and increase
our faith. This sermon describes two incidents in the Gospel of John,
chapters 4 and 5, in which Jesus challenged two men facing crises in their
lives to reach out to God with all their faith. Not only did they see their
need met, but they also experienced an increase in faith that didn't require
the "crutch" of having to see a sign first.

Lazarus, Come Forth! |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |

One of the greatest works of Jesus is described
in John 11, the raising of Lazarus from the dead. That great event brought
to the forefront many truths about Jesus: His compassion for our sufferings;
His great power, even over life and death; His ability to meet our needs
at just the right time; the rewards of faith in Christ. Read this sermon
to relive the thrilling story and refresh your faith in Christ.

Doubting Thomas |
19 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
We exercised faith when we believed in the Word
of God for our salvation. We should exercise faith for every other part
of the Word of God, believing that God will make His Word a reality in
our lives as we embrace His promises. Too often the disciples of Christ,
Thomas first among them, were slow to believe the words of Jesus. We need
not follow that example, but rather the examples of many who found great
blessings in believing Christ's words. One great promise to us is the
authority He gave us over the devil and his evil powers.

An Evil Heart of Unbelief |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
In Numbers Chapter 14 we read the account of the
twelve spies of Israel who came back to Moses after surveying the Promised
Land. Ten spies brought back an evil report of unbelief, while two spies
encouraged the people to trust God for the victory. Those ten spies are
examples to us of evil hearts of unbelief, hearts so hardened with unbelief
and fear that they missed out on a great blessing from God. This message
is a warning to all believers to guard our hearts from the trap of hardening
our hearts against the promises of God.

Be a Caleb |

This sermon contrasts the voice of faith against
the voice of unbelief. You'll see in detail how words and attitudes reveal
the spiritual condition of a person or of a people. And you will be challenged
to follow the example of Caleb, a man of faith who received his reward
long after his unbelieving contemporaries all perished.

Know with Assurance |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
When Jesus asked His disciples Whom they thought
He was, Peter answered with assurance that He was the Christ. Peter had
that answer deep in his heart because the Father had revealed that great
truth to him. Christians today need that same revelation, and the Holy
Spirit has been sent to us to place that same assurance in our hearts.
Through the experiences of everyday life, the Holy Spirit wants to build
a deep assurance in our hearts of faith and trust.

perplexed at these events.

Having the Right Attitude Toward Souls
and the Truth |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
What's your attitude toward souls? Do you have a burning desire to reach out to them, or are you taken up with other things? Are you bold or are you ashamed to tell others about Jesus? How about your attitude to the Truth of God and His Word? How seriously do you take it to heart? This message looks at the Apostle Paul's writings and his heart toward souls. Let it do an "attitude check" on you. Let it motivate you to a Holy Ghost led "attitude adjustment," if necessary, so you may be more fruitful for the kingdom of God. |

Woe to Them That Are at Ease |
12 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
The purpose of this sermon is to stir Christians
with a deep concern for souls. It especially addresses Christian women
to shake off the comforts of ease and spiritual lethargy, to look for
opportunities to witness to neighbors, and to search for ways to be busy
for God in these last days. One example to avoid is that of Jonah, who
slept away while his ship roiled in the midst of a dangerous storm.

Shining Brightly |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Jesus taught us to let the light of God shine brightly
out to people all around us, like a candle set on a candlestick to light
a house. In a world darkened with sin, destined for the looming judgments
of God, the only light shining into its utter darkness is the faithful
testimony of Christians proclaiming the truth of the gospel light. This
sermon exhorts us to follow the example of John the Baptist, whom Jesus
called a bright and shining light.

Godly Sorrow |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
Godly sorrow causes a person to feel truly sorry
for a life of sin, a life displeasing to God. And godly sorrow moves a
person to repentance, so that he seeks God's forgiveness and help in turning
to a life of righteousness. One of the greatest mistakes of men is to
refuse to acknowledge their hopeless condition of sin; their refusal only
prolongs their suffering, even to eternity. But what a wonderful experience
when godly sorrow brings repentance and a changed life: God's grace lifts
the burden of sin and fills the heart with joy. This sermon is directed
to those who feel the sorrow and weight of a sinful life and are searching
for a lasting answer.

Hope |
18 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The "good news" of the Gospel message
is the only true source of hope for anyone. No other message can satisfy
the need of every soul for liberty from the bondages of sin and hopelessness.
Christians have experienced the wonderful gift from God of sins forgiven
and a hope brighter than we could have imagined. We must now spread the
hope in our lives to others who are yet laboring through a life of despair.

So Send I You |
16 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
To work effectively for God in these Last Days will
require that we have the power of God. But we can aspire to such anointing
only if we are willing to pay the price of self-denial taught through
word and example by our Master. Jesus wants to empower us with His anointing,
but we must first consecrate ourselves to the Father's will, drinking
the cup of suffering and sacrifice as He sees fit. Our best example of
the life God wants us to live is that of Jesus Himself, as you will see
in this sermon.

Psalm 22 - a Prophetic Psalm |

In Psalm 22 we can see the beautiful prophetic ministry

His cruel death and unmatched love.

The three parables of Jesus in chapter 15 of Luke's

Pastor Dailey describes the dealings of God that
brought him into the ministry, and the early years of pastoring a small

Disobedient to the Call |

Jonah was one of the most unusual characters in
the Bible: a prophet called of God but unwilling to obey;
used greatly to bring a whole city of thousands to repentance but angry

sermon you will learn from a Biblical "bad" example evil attitudes
to avoid.

It Is Good to Draw Near |

The most important thing you will ever do is to
draw near to God. It's by drawing near to God that we get answers to prayer,
find victory over sin and temptation, and gain the power to defeat the
devil. It is also in God's presence where we can be filled with His Holy
Spirit and receive a fresh touch in our souls. This message looks at the
necessity and benefits of drawing near to God, and gives clear instruction
on how to do so effectively.

Take Time to Pray |
16 pages | Patricia Dailey

Jesus commended Mary for her desire to sit at His
feet and hear His words. Daniel faced the lion's den because he determined
to spend time in prayer in the face of certain punishment. These believers
give us powerful examples of the importance of spending time in the presence
of God. In our daily lives we can be distracted or drawn away from prayer
by many things, including an unsaved spouse. In the face of such opposition,
it is important to remember the great spiritual and natural benefits of
a consistent, daily habit of prayer: a more spiritual life, a more peaceful
home, a more effective witness of God in your life.

Throughout the Scriptures God reveals His desire
for the whole-hearted love of His people. In the Book of Jeremiah, God
spoke fondly of the time when the children of Israel sought after Him
while in the wilderness. In the first chapter of Acts, when the early
believers gathered together with one heart to seek God, He showed His
pleasure in pouring out the Holy Spirit in a supernatural way. This sermon

of us. Also listen to the companion Going

If You Seek Him, He Will Be Found of You
|
20 pages | Patricia Dailey
|
Among the many blessings of seeking God sincerely
are peace of mind and freedom from wordly lusts. Many people are trapped
in debt, discontent and tormented minds because their hearts seek after
carnal things that don't satisfy. Those that seek God find true fulfillment
in His presence and in His spiritual and natural blessings. King Asa prospered
in the blessings of God when he sought God for himself and for his kingdom.
Sadly, later in life he strayed away, refused God's correction and died
in dishonor. He serves as an example of the good in seeking God and of
the necessity of serving Him every day.

The two sisters both loved Jesus, but they expressed
their love differently. Mary sat at the feet of Jesus in adoration and

Likewise Jesus corrected the Ephesian Church for having lost sight of
their love for Him in the midst of their many good works.

Be Ye Thankful |

Christians should be thankful to God for our many
blessings. But too often we are not. A telling illustration of the thankful

out the importance of praise and thanksgiving in a Christian's life.

This sermon is both a Bible study and an exhortation
on the spiritual merits of showing gratitude and praise to God. The Scriptures
offer many exhortations and reasons for Christians to have thankful hearts,
greatest among them the work of Jesus Christ on Calvary to redeem us from
eternal perdition to eternal fellowship with Him. A trademark of our time
is the self-centered "gimme" attitude of many; but the mature
disciple of Christ ought to display continuously a heart-felt thanks to
our gracious God.

Hunger and Thirst |

This sermon is a heart-felt appeal for Christians
to develop a great desire for a very personal and intimate relationship
with Jesus Christ. It is in that kind of relationship that both the Lord
and the believer find satisfaction. And the primary way to develop such
a rich communion is in a consistent daily prayer life, in which a two-way
communication can flourish. If you've struggled to establish a good habit
of daily prayer, you may find encouragement in this message.

A true hallmark of a deep spiritual experience is
the joy and praise manifest in a Christian's life. Pastor Dailey examines
three Old Testament passages (Isaiah 61, Joseph's many-colored coat in

the work of God in transforming the ash heap of a ruined life into beauty
and praise in a Christian.

Jesus was a good Friend to His disciples. His words

This is a detailed Scriptural study of the Last
Days, presented in Book-and-Chapter format to facilitate your careful
study of this important subject.
Chapter 1: The spiritual condition of Noah's world was one of the signs that Jesus gave of the coming end of the age. Great hidden wisdom from the Genesis passage of Noah is brought to light in this chapter. This Last Days material will help you understand why the Lord emphasized Noah's days. Chapter 2: Lot was a righteous man who vexed his soul by mingling with the most wicked of his day, to the level that he backslid and lost so much of what he once had with God. Lot is another example the Lord gave us as a warning and sign of Last Days conditions. Chapter 3: In Matthew 24 the Lord gives detailed signs to point to His Second Coming, which are explained in this chapter: the restoration of Jerusalem near the end of the Gentile era; the rise of many deceivers; wars among nations and kingdoms; and many natural disasters. Chapter 4: This chapter discusses the Scriptural accounts of the anti-christ: his characteristics, his great power and his activities. You will also learn about the underlying causes of his rise to power. Chapter 5: The woman sitting on the beast; the seven heads, the ten horns, the mother of harlots. These are some of the mysterious characters introduced in the Book of Revelation, and explained in this chapter Chapter 6: The Rapture of the Church by Jesus Christ from a sin-filled world comes just before the day of the Lord, a time of unprecedented judgment and calamities befalling the whole earth. Chapter 7: This chapter explains the foundational doctrine of the resurrections, especially the First Ressurection of the righteous unto their eternal reward. Also explained are the pre-emminence of Jesus Christ in all things (including the resurrection of the dead), some of the attacks on this doctrine, and the necessity of being always ready for Christ's return. |

Know These Wicked and Evil Forces |

In 1988 the Lord spoke to Pastor Dailey in a series
of visitations to reveal the attack of the spirit of antichrist against
the Church. This attack will be very subtle and very effective, and has
already begun its wicked work in our day. These visitations are both a
revelation to the Church, and a warning of things to watch for.

The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord
|
16 pages | Wayne Dailey | |
|
The day is approaching when the great judgments
of God will fall on the earth. These are the calamaties described in detail
in many different passages in the Bible, some of which are reviewed in
this sermon. The best defense we have against the coming troubles is to
be ready at all times for the Second Coming of the Lord, when He returns
to rescue away His beloved Church. The Lord warned many times that we
should be ready at all times because His coming would be sudden and unannounced.
This sermon reminds us of these important truths.

What Time Is It? |

The Apostles Peter and Jude both wrote warnings
inspired by the Holy Spirit to guide believers in the last days away from
the apostasy and the false teachers plaguing our times and seeking to
weaken the church. This sermon identifies the telltale signs of these
deceivers: forsaking Christ and denying the power of His blood; using
covetous practices and insincere words to make merchadise of God's people;
turning God's grace into a license to sin; and, leading many into damnable
heresies.

The words of Jesus recorded in the Gospels of Matthew
and Luke proclaim solemn warnings about the last days of our era. Consistent
with Old Testament examples and other New Testament exhortations, the
Lord described the signs of His return and the severity of the subsequent
calamities that will befall the whole world. This sermon exhorts us to
live soberly, live ready, live expecting, and offers practical advice
on how to avoid dangers commonly plaguing God's people today.
