Doctrine, Prophecy |

Principles of the Faith |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Hebrews 6:1-2 lists the foundational doctrines of
the Christian faith, and this sermon explains these principles: repentance
from dead works; faith toward God; baptisms (baptism in water, and baptism
of the Holy Ghost); laying on of hands; resurrection; and, eternal judgments.
This sermon will be particularly helpful to the young Christian seeking
to build on his salvation experience to grow with sound doctrine.
|
||
Going On to Perfection |
7 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
This is the "seventh principle" of the
Christian doctrine, the striving toward perfection in the walk of the
believer. This sermon will exhort you to the necessity of reaching daily
for the fruits of maturing in Christ.

Lessons from the Book of Jonah
|
12 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Jonah was one of the most unusual characters in
the Bible: a prophet called of God but unwilling to obey;
used greatly to bring a whole city of thousands to repentance but angry
that God showed mercy; professing to the heathen he was one of
God's people while confessing he was running from God. This sermon looks
at disobedience and its consequences; also at God and His mercy.
|
||
Lessons in Greatness
|
8 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
People aspire to greatness. We consider men such as
Moses and David to be great men of God. What is it that made them great? What
is it that makes people truly great in the eyes of God? This sermon
looks at various aspects of greatness as seen in these two men.
|
||
Lying Spirits
|
8 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
King Jehoshaphat was a godly man, but he made a
mistake that nearly cost him his life: He joined forces with Ahab, the evil
king of Israel, and gave ear to deceitful men who were presenting themselves
as prophets of God. This sermon, based on this story, warns us of the dangers
of listening to people who stray from the truth of the Bible.
|
||
Whose Will Wins? |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Satan lost his place in heaven because of his "I will." When we're
self-willed, we're letting the devil have control. If we want God's plan and purpose
to be fulfilled in our life, we must lay aside our own will and submit to God's will.
|
||
Beware of False Teachers |
11 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
The Scriptures warn us to beware of false prophets
and false teachers. They ruin the faith of many people, leading them away
from the truth of the God's Word and into deceitful teachings of men. To guard
ourselves against them, we must study, believe and obey God's Word. Only then
we will be able to discern the truth from the devil's subtle lies. Some important
teachings of the Bible are ridiculed today by many preachers. As a result, many
weak believers are led into sin. If they remain there, they will perish.
|
||
God's Strange Ways to Victory |
15 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
A faith-inspiring sermon that gets to the nitty gritty of what God is looking for
so we can overcome in every area of our life.
|
||
Keep Me from Presumptuous Sins |
11 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
"Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not
have dominion over me" (Psalm 19:13a). Pride, one of mankind's
most abominable sins, lies at the root of presumptuous sins. The presumptuous sins of Absalom,
Adonijah and Uzziah and the awful consequences these men suffered serve as strong warning for
us not to indulge in presumptuous sins ourselves but to ask God to keep us from them, as David
did in Psalm 19.
|
||
Beware of False Prophets |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
This sermon is based on an unusual account in I Kings chapter 22.
God allows a lying spirit to speak through 400 prophets to bring a wicked king to
destruction. This is a message we need to heed today. II Thessalonians 2:10-12 says that,
in this final age, God will send strong delusion upon those who don't love the truth,
so they will believe a lie and suffer eternal damnation.

The Sin of Being Self-willed |
11 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
A self-willed person is a great burden to himself,
to his family, to everyone around him. How sad that many Christians were
raised by Mom from their infancy to be stubborn and head-strong. Then
they struggle throughout life with the heavy burden and consequences of
this sin. This sermon will help you identify this problem and
guide you in seeking victory over it.
|
||
Is Your Head in the Lap of the Enemy?
|
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
The devil is subtle and crafty. He works through the lusts of our own flesh to
entice us and, if we're not on guard, ensnare us in his grip. This message contrasts the lives of two Old Testament
characters, Joseph and Samson, and serves as a warning and encouragement to stay faithful to God and
His word.
|
||
The Effect of Righteousness
|
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Does righteous living — living in obedience to
God — pay off? Isaiah 32:17 says, ". . .the work of righteousness
shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance
forever." Living in a manner that's well-pleasing to God certainly does
"pay off" — both now and for all eternity. This sermon examines
righteous living and the many blessings that follow.
|
||
React . . . or Forgive?
|
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us that God's ways and thoughts
are very different, and much higher, than our ways and thoughts. We can
look at the commandments in God's Word and think they seem wrong, or even
unfair. But when we follow them in faith, we find that they, instead,
lead to blessing and peace. Perhaps one of the hardest commandments to
swallow is to forgive those who have wronged us. Let this message, by
Pastor Patricia Dailey, minister to you the need and grace to let go of
bitter feelings, and to forgive from the heart.
|
||
The Benefits of Loving God |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Psalm 103 encourages us to bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.
Sister Dailey encourages us to consider some of the many benefits
there are for those who love Him with all their hearts.
God daily loads us with benefits (Psalm 68:19) — salvation, healing, and deliverance out of all our afflictions and troubles. The list goes on and on . . . Also listen to the companion The Benefits of Loving God audio version of this sermon. |
||
God Sent His Angel |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
It pays to serve God with your whole heart! God
will deliver you from all evil and troubles. This sermon by Pastor Patricia
Dailey will encourage you to be faithful to God and trust Him in every
situation.
|
||
Folly or Faithfulness? |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The priesthoods of Eli and Samuel are a picture
of two camps that exist within the church world today. One is not blessed;
the other is. This sermon looks at these men and clearly instructs us
how to be in the camp that is blessed.
|
||
Going God's Way |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
The children of Israel had a pattern of going God's
way then turning to their own way. When they turned from God — doing
what was right in their own eyes — they suffered the consequences.
When they returned to God and obeyed Him, they were blessed. This principle
is still true for New Testament believers. This sermon will strengthen
your resolve to do things God's way and live under the blessing of God.
|
||
Faithfulness, Not Stubbornness
|
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
How important is it to be faithful in everything?
This sermon looks at examples of faithfulness — and stubborn unfaithfulness
— as described in Hebrews Chapter 3, verses 1 through 15.
|
||
The First Lie . . . Still Potent Today |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The serpent said to the woman, "Ye shall NOT
surely die." This marks the point; the beginning: the first lie ever
told to man. Satan twisted God's Word to form a lie, to deceive man into
believing it was all right to go contrary to what God had said. Man bought
into the lie and suffered the consequences of which God had so clearly
warned. Satan's tactics haven't changed. Let this sermon minister to you
so you don't fall prey to the lies of the devil yourself.
|
||
Finding the Sure Mercies of David
|
12 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
God's mercy toward David when he sinned should encourage
us to seek God for the same mercy when we have sinned. It is important
to our spiritual well-being that we seek repentance and forgiveness when
we have failed Him. Restoration may require that we make things right
with man as well as with God, and may even involve chastisement, but the
fruit of it all is peace within.
|
||
God's Rebuke Against Worldliness
|
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The Apostle James penned one of God's strongest
rebukes of worldliness among God's people. James wrote of the corruptive
impact of carnal desires, fleshly lusts, ungodly affections out of control
and outside God's provisions. Such brutish ways lead to prayers unaswered,
wars and killings. Today, a shamefully common example of this worldliness
in the church is divorce and re-marriage, resulting in the very adultery
James so clearly reproved.
|
||
Knowing the True from the False |
15 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Pastor Dailey describes a series of visions the
Lord gave him in a visitation in 1988, concerning the attack of Satan
on the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days. The Lord revealed the
subtly deceptive work of the enemy to portray himself as an angel of light
who works in evil men of our day to publish false messages and doctrines
that subvert men's souls from the truth. These revelations recall Scriptural
examples of deception, and warn us to be vigilant against this very harmful
onslaught.

How Long Will You Turn The Glory Of God Into Shame?How Long Will You Turn My Glory into Shame? Part 1 How Long Will You Turn My Glory into Shame? Part 2 |
-------------------- 27 pages 30 pages |
Wayne Dailey |
|
These are long, thoughtful and meaty sermons to instruct and challenge
God's people in God's holy and glorious ways. Many Scripture passages
are examined to illustrate God's desire for glory among His people.
Examples from the lives of the Apostle Paul and King David reveal His
ways, but above all we see Jesus as the perfect example of the glory
God longs to share with believers. In Part 2 you will find exhortations
on conduct in your home, and particularly in your marriage, that glorify
and please God.

Turning Points
|
8 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
A turning point in one's life can be a good thing or a bad thing.
King Uzziah was a godly king, but there came a turning point in his life that led to
his destruction. This sermon brings out valuable lessons to learn from King Uzziah's life.

Lessons in Greatness
|
8 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
People aspire to greatness. We consider men such as
Moses and David to be great men of God. What is it that made them great? What
is it that makes people truly great in the eyes of God? This sermon
looks at various aspects of greatness as seen in these two men.
|
||
Who Gets the Glory?
|
8 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
The sin of pride mars the ministry and destroys lives. Some
people seek attention for themselves; they should, instead, seek only the glory
of God and the advancement of His kingdom. Some become proud because of their
talents and gifts, which others flatter; that flattery often leads to self-exaltation.
How much better to take on humble attitudes, like those seen in Jesus and Paul. Our
goal should be to lift up Jesus in everything we do.
|
||
I Thought! |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Two little words, "I thought!". . . but
how much trouble they can cause us! Oh, how we need to learn to lay aside
our thoughts and take up God's thoughts. See in this sermon by Pastor
Patricia Dailey how a man with a great need almost missed his miracle
because of his thoughts.
|
||
Humility |
8 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
The Bible says, God resists the proud but gives
grace to the humble (James 4:6). This sermon clearly shows
the blessings that come from humility and the suffering that results from
pride. The choice is ours -- to humble ourselves or to be humbled by God.
|
||
Swift to Hear |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The Old Testament is full of examples to guide Christians
in a godly walk. One essential lesson we can glean from the troubles of
the Israelites is the benefit of listening to the instructions of God,
spoken through His servants and through the Scriptures, and to obey those
instructions. If we learn to listen and obey, we invite the blessings
of a loving God and are spared much suffering and many troubles.
|
||
Going Down to Come Up |
9 pages | Judy DiZazzo |
|
God is thorough and patient in the work He undertakes
to prepare His servant for ministry. If you are feeling His dealings,
this sermon will encourage and guide your heart. You will be exhorted
to accept sufferings and other undesirable circumstances as God's way
of building humility and obedience deep in your heart. And you will be
encouraged to press through all these experiences so as to receive the
reward of a fruitful life that glorifies God.

Spiritual Warfare, Trials |

Instruct God? |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
It's so easy, especially during hard times, to get impatient and subconsciously
begin to wonder if God really has things under control. This sermon enourages you to trust
God at all times, not questioning his ability or forgetting all the wonders He has performed.
|
||
Facing Your Giants |
17 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The story of David and Goliath is, no doubt, one of the most preached on passages
of the Old Testament. The story inspires faith in God during life's most severe battles. Here is yet
another message on this passage of Scripture, encouraging us to rise up and meet our hardest
challenges with faith in the name of the Lord.

What's Your Focus: Your Trial or the Lord? |
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
When you're going through hard trials, what do you focus on:
your trial or the Lord? This is one of the biggest struggles a Christian faces. Let this
sermon encourage you to keep your eyes and heart fixed upon the Lord, Who remains
faithful and will never fail you.
|
||
Trust Me! |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
So many sermons are preached on the subject of believing God and trusting
Him. No doubt, that's because each day affords us the opportunity to get distracted and even
brought down by our circumstances and the fight from the adversary of our soul. The long, hard
trials, which seem to never end, are the most difficult to bear up to and endure. This sermon
looks at the trials of several great men of God. It will encourage and strengthen you to face,
and make it through, your hard trials.
|
||
Comforted, So You Can Comfort |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The comfort of God carried Paul through all the
troubles, persecutions and sufferings that he endured. When we experience
God's comfort in our tribulations, we're able also to comfort others who are
experiencing any kind of trouble. Praying for others is a major way in
which we can bring God's comfort to others.
|
||
Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled |
7 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Troubles in many nations and problems without answers
seem to plague our world. Though the world staggers and worries, God's people
should rest, knowing the Lord forewarned us the last days would be like
this. We can abide in peace, though the world shake with turmoil. Jesus
promised us an eternal home in heaven, free from all the sufferings of this
world; and He taught us to cast all our cares upon Him: the One who
is able to help us in any situation.
|
||
The Antidote to Fretting |
9 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
It's so easy to worry and fret. But God's Word has the answer for this, as it does for
every other aspect of life.
|
||
Standing Your Ground |
13 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
God's Word exhorts us to stand up and fight: not against
people, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world
and spiritual wickedness in high places. Christians can't afford to be spiritual
wimps! We must learn to stand our ground against the wiles of the devil and
overcome him. This message teaches us how to do so and inspires faith that we
can stand in the face of all opposition.
|
||
The Little Foxes |
8 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
A great source of strength for Christians is our
joy in the Lord. When we lose our joy, we can lose our determination to
serve God, to weather the storms, to press on. So Satan sends against
us whatever he can to rob us of our joy. Often it isn't the big challenge
that defeats our joy, but rather the little annoyances of everyday life,
the "little foxes" that spoil the tender vine of its fruit.
This sermon will reveal the methods of your adversary, and teach you to
guard yourself against allowing carnal reactions to overtake you.
|
||
God Sent His Angel |

what may have been the hardest trial of his life.
|
||
Long Duration Trials |
8 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
None of us likes trials and hardships — especially
those that try us to the limit. There's no light at the end of the tunnel.
In fact, the more we pray, nothing happens or things get worse. Has God
left us or failed us? A deeper understanding of how God works in these
trials can turn our darkness into light and sadness into joy. Draw encouragement
from this sermon by Pastor Patricia Dailey.
|
||
Faint, Yet Pursuing |
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
At times, spiritual battles go on and on and on,
seemingly without end. Yet, God brings the victory at the right time.
In the meanwhile, we need strength to keep on going and hold our faith.
Let this sermon encourage you to seek the Lord, wait on the Lord, draw
strength from the Lord, and hold onto His promises until victory comes.
|
||
The Day That Finds You in Despair |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
There's the day that finds you in despair. You don't
know what to do. You're despairing what to do. You're not in the sunshine
now; you're in the shadows. You don't know what things are going to turn
out like, what you may have to forbear: but you do know this: you can't
give in! This sermon will help put faith and a backbone in you during
hard times of testing.
|
||
In the Army of the Lord |
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
What would happen if soldiers in the battle got
discouraged, laid down their weapons and quit fighting? Unfortunately,
that's often what we do, as soldiers of the cross in the army of the Lord.
We can't lie down and die when things get tough or when the devil wages
an all out attack. Let this sermon put a backbone in you to stand up and
fight the good fight of faith.
|
||
Standing Still |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |

What should you do when you're backed against a
wall, facing an insurmountable problem? This sermon presents clear, scriptural
directions, which, if followed, will ensure victory.
|
||
Lord Help Me |
14 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
God has real answers for real problems in the lives
of real people like you. Whatever troubles you face or sins drive your
life, when you seriously and sincerely turn to Christ with repentance
and prayer, He will make a way out for you.

||
Prepared Through Trials
|
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The Apostle Paul faced many trials in his service
for Christ. Near the end of his ministry Paul exemplified the spiritual
perspective he had learned from his many experiences and sufferings: a
strong faith in God in the face of very difficult circumstances. We can
take courage from his example to know that God is always in control and
always with us in every storm of life to work His perfect will in our
lives.
|
||
Endure Hardness As a Good Soldier
|
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Christians who are serious in their commitment to
God are taught in the Scriptures that they will face persecutions, testings
and sufferings. So they should prepare their hearts and minds to continue
faithfully serving God despite whatever hardships they will face. The
goal of this sermon is to encourage Christ's servants to remain true to
Him through all their troubles and afflictions.
|
||
Psalm 142 |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
David suffered many things as a young man running
for his life from the jealous rage of King Saul. He sometimes felt that
there was no place to hide and no refuge of safety; friends had left him
and all hope seemed gone. In those times David learned first hand the
power of prayer, the fruits of faith, and the faithfulness of God when
all else and everyone else fails.
|
||
Deliverance |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The activity of the devil in the lives of men is
a topic Jesus often addressed in His earthly ministry, always from His
position of complete authority over Satanic forces. Drawing on relevant
Gospel passages and from four decades of experience in fighting the devil,
Pastor Dailey shares insights and exhortations on how to overcome the
devil and stay free.
|
||
Living in the Pressure Cooker |
9 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Christians often face pressures in life that don't
seem to have an explanation. This sermon offers understanding as to the
purpose behind such pressures: the preparation of the believer for greater
challenges and service to the Lord in the future. The message will also
encourage you to bear up to these pressures, with the assurance that God
will test you only to the level for which He has prepared you.
|
||
God Will Fight for You |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Fear and faith often battle within the believer's
heart and mind when he faces a crisis. King Jehoshaphat encountered a
day when numerous of his enemies gathered against him with their great
armies to destroy him. His first reaction was to fear. But soon faith
arose as he remembered the great promises of God and His faithfulness
to Israel throughout its history. Then God anointed His prophet to encourage
all the people to trust in Him. If you are feeling the need for a boost
to your faith, this sermon will help you.
|
||
The Way of Peace |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Preaching from several texts in the Book of Isaiah,
Pastor Dailey exhorts on the peace of God, and in particular as it is
exemplified in the life of Jesus. Whether facing a raging storm on the
sea, the judgment hall of Pontius Pilate, or even the cruel sufferings
of Calvary, the Master never lost His deep peace. His was not a peace
from pleasant circumstances, but the abiding peace of God. And it is that
peace that He wants to give us also.
|
||
Contending for the Faith
|
16 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Through this sermon faithful Christians are urged
to contend for the fundamentals of our faith in our closing days of apostasy.
Recognizing the wickedness of our generation and its many parallels with
the times of Noah and of Lot, we must maintain our own faithfulness to
God, keeping our own soul and keeping busy in spiritual endeavors. But
going beyond, we must earnestly contend in prayer for the restoration
of treasures the Church once had: the power of God, the outpouring of
the Holy Spirit, the manifestation of spiritual gifts.
|
||
Losing Your Grip |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Preached on several occasions some years ago, this
sermon draws a lesson from the life of King David on the importance of
maintaining our Christian experience through the battles of life. The
great warrior David, who as a young man single-handedly slew the giant,
in the midst of his mature years was almost killed by another giant. He
grew weary and loosened his grip on his sword. Had it not been for a young
ally running to his rescue, David would have been killed. This message
is like the young ally rushing to rescue you from complancency, weariness,
or spiritual laziness.

Run to Win |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
When runners prepare for a race, they must remove everything that could weigh
them down. They can't run with a backpack, heavy boots, or anything else that would hinder them.
The Bible makes known that we, too, are in a race — a spiritual race — and we must cast aside
everything that could hinder us. This sermon looks into some of the common spiritual hindrances that
affect people.

Your All |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |

Throughout the Scriptures God exhorts His people to love Him with everything
they are and everything they have. This is the only walk God accepts, and is the only path to true
riches and blessing. This sermon looks at loving God with your all.

Righteousness by Faith |

This sermon, taken from Romans chapters six and ten, teaches what true righteousness
is — how to possess it and how to walk in it. It contrasts righteousness by works with righteousness
by faith.

People aspire to greatness. We consider men such as

Cast Thy Bread upon the Waters
|
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Scripture teaches us that Christians should be filled
with good works. The Bible gives us many examples of godly people
who followed that teaching. Among them are Dorcas, the faithful worker
in the early church whom Peter raised from the dead; the Old Testament
saint Job; and the Good Samaritan, in Jesus' parable. This sermon
exhorts us to show the same compassion and Christ-like virtue as we
interact with needy people.
|

Walking Wisely
|
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
It was said of David, "And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways;
and the LORD was with him." How wisely do you live your life? This sermon examines ways
that would not be wise and that would hinder us in our walk with the Lord.

Getting Prepared
|
12 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Jesus was a good Friend to His disciples. His words
to them in John 14 prepared them for His departure and reflected His love
and care. He spoke of Himself, of the way to heaven, of prayer, of obedience,
of the works his disciples would do, and of the Holy Spirit Whom He would send
to be their Comforter. Through these words, we can learn more about the
Person of Jesus and strengthen our relationship with Him.

React . . . or Forgive?
|
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |

Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us that God's ways and thoughts
are very different, and much higher, than our ways and thoughts. We can
look at the commandments in God's Word and think they seem wrong, or even

Why Deny Myself? |
8 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
Why would people want to deny themselves? Christ
taught us by word and by example that we should deny ourselves and obey
God's will for our lives. He taught us that true discipleship is a daily
commitment to the Father's will and denial of self-centeredness. His greatest
example was His willingness to obey His Father to the death of the cross.
Paul took up that challenge when he wrote that he died daily. This sermon,
by Pastor Patricia Dailey, teaches the need for Christians to deny self,
the selfish examples of the world, and the natural tendency to please
self, and instead to obey God's will every day.
|
||
Building Our Lives |
9 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
We all build our lives in one way or another. The
Bible frequently contrasts the wise, whose lives will stand, with the
foolish, whose lives will crumble. Jesus likens a foolish person to one
who builds his house on the sand. The prophet Ezekiel uses the phrase,
"daubing with untempered mortar." How important it is —
for this life and for all eternity — that we build our lives wisely.
This sermon by Pastor Wayne Dailey points out several ways people build
their lives with "untempered mortar" and challenges us to build
our lives upon the solid truth of God's Word.

Peace I Leave with You |

Jesus left us His peace when He departed from the
earth to return to heaven. His peace is not like the temporary peace that
the world offers. His peace can abide within a Christian despite troubles
and difficult circumstances. Christ's peace also is a fruit of the Spirit
of God we can bear in our lives. This sermon by Pastor Wayne Dailey explores
the source and nature of God's peace in us.

9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
In this sermon Sister Dailey takes us through the
book of Ruth, sharing rich lessons from Ruth's example of what it is to

Deal Bountifully |
16 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
A sure way to grow spiritually and reap God's bountiful
blessings is to approach God's Word with the right attitude. We should
be determined to hear, read, study and, most of all, obey God's Word.
When the Scriptures point out things in our lives that displease God,
we should allow the Holy Spirit to change us. This sermon exhorts us in
good attitudes toward the Scriptures.

Condemnation or Trial? |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
This sermon offers practical Christian advice for
living joyfully and victoriously. The first lesson teaches us how to distinguish
between feelings of condemnation that come from the devil versus those
that come from unrepented sin. The second lesson explains how carnal and
negative thinking and talking can rob us of joy, fellowship and faith.
The purpose of both lessons is to encourage faith and victory in our walk
with God.
|
||
What, Shall We Continue in Sin?
|
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
This sermon addresses a fundamental truth missing
in the lives of many Christians in today's church world: victory over
sin. Believers fed on unbiblical ideas about grace may not have realized
that grace came to give them victory over sin, not victory in sin. Pastor
Dailey gives a detailed exhortation from Romans 6 & 7, including the
struggle with sin that the Apostle Paul experienced, to teach us that
we must mortify the sinful deeds of the flesh and walk in the Spirit of
God.

Tender Plants |
16 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Newborn Christians are like tender young plants:
both need delicate care and nurturing to enable them to grow until they
are strong enough to thrive on their own. The milk of God's Word is the
spiritual food for young Christians, messages that build up and direct
their hearts into a deeper love for God. But many young believers stumble
in their early years, some never to recover. Jesus gave us the Parable
of the Sower to help us understand the reasons for the failures of some,
and ways to avoid such failures.

Going the Last Mile |
18 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Did Jesus really mean to turn the other cheek, go
the second mile, and pray for our enemies? Let's learn from the lives
of Isaac and David. We'll see wonderful examples of spiritual men with
the love of God so deeply ingrained in their meek characters that they
did truly turn the other cheek. As we follow their examples, we'll reap
the same blessings they received, the peace of God and His hand to bless
us and to defeat our enemies.

Number Your Days |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Time is the one element in every life that must
come to an end. Whether we have already travelled many days or are only

to serve God. How we use this precious commodity on this earth has a great
bearing on our eternal reward. This sermon will exhort you to live with
an eternal perspective on the days you have remaining.

||
Established in Him |
15 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Through the analogy of the fruitful tree and the
well-tended garden, this sermon illustrates the importance of cultivating
our spiritual lives. Whether it is the preparation of the soil, or the
watering of the plant, or the weeding out of harmful and unwelcome invaders,
the gardener must work continuously to nurture the plants he want to see
flourish. Likewise, a diligent Christian must apply himself to the work
of preparing his heart for the seed of God's Word, watering it daily,
and guarding it from its common enemies of pleasures, riches and cares.
This is a pleasant sermon to read with a deep message.

||
Let This Mind Be in You |
16 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The Scriptures offer us the perfect example of Jesus
Christ in total obedience to the will of His Father. Jesus left His glory
in heaven to take on the earthly form of a humble servant, to fulfill
the will of His Father, even to the death of Calvary. His disciples are
instructed to have the same mind to obey the Father. Our obedience starts
with our response to the gospel call to salvation, and continues with
our reverently working out that salvation before God in yielding to the
guidance and dealings of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, our minds and
our consciences.

Behaving Wisely in the Home
|

The Scriptures describe the young man David as behaving
wisely in all his situations. He serves as our example in this sermon
on the proper behavior we should adopt in the Christian home. The exhortation

accountability to honor and obey their Christian parents. The overall
goal is to order the home as a sanctuary of love and peace that God can
bless.

your thirsting soul.

Forgiving |
18 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The words of Jesus from His Sermon on the Mount
are the basis for this sermon on forgiveness. The blessedness of being
quick to forgive an offense, and of humbling ourselves to seek forgiveness

when we hold feeling against others, carrying such matters to Jugement
when the Judge teaches us to correct those things while were are here
on earth.

This sermon

|
||
Faith! |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Faith! That's what's important. Not just knowing the
Scriptures, not just understanding the Scriptures, not just quoting the Scriptures:
but believing them and resting on them — when all is going well, and
when everything is being shaken. God has given to each believer the measure of faith.
This sermon challenges you to use it.

have surrendered their will to God's will, to those who are sold out to
Him.

Faith is a central element of our relationship with
God, and He works to teach, encourage and challenge us to use and increase
our faith. This sermon describes two incidents in the Gospel of John,
chapters 4 and 5, in which Jesus challenged two men facing crises in their
lives to reach out to God with all their faith.Not only did they see their
need met, but they also experienced an increase in faith that didn't require
the "crutch" of having to see a sign first.

Lazarus, Come Forth! |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
One of the greatest works of Jesus is described
in John 11, the raising of Lazarus from the dead. That great event brought
to the forefront many truths about Jesus: His compassion for our sufferings;
His great power, even over life and death; His ability to meet our needs
at just the right time; the rewards of faith in Christ. Read this sermon
to relive the thrilling story and refresh your faith in Christ.

||
Doubting Thomas |
19 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
We exercised faith when we believed in the Word
of God for our salvation. We should exercise faith for every other part
of the Word of God, believing that God will make His Word a reality in
our lives as we embrace His promises. Too often the disciples of Christ,
Thomas first among them, were slow to believe the words of Jesus. We need
not follow that example, but rather the examples of many who found great
blessings in believing Christ's words. One great promise to us is the
authority He gave us over the devil and his evil powers.
|
||
An Evil Heart of Unbelief |
9 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
In Numbers Chapter 14 we read the account of the
twelve spies of Israel who came back to Moses after surveying the Promised
Land. Ten spies brought back an evil report of unbelief, while two spies
encouraged the people to trust God for the victory. Those ten spies are
examples to us of evil hearts of unbelief, hearts so hardened with unbelief
and fear that they missed out on a great blessing from God. This message
is a warning to all believers to guard our hearts from the trap of hardening
our hearts against the promises of God.

Know with Assurance |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
When Jesus asked His disciples Whom they thought
He was, Peter answered with assurance that He was the Christ. Peter had
that answer deep in his heart because the Father had revealed that great
truth to him. Christians today need that same revelation, and the Holy
Spirit has been sent to us to place that same assurance in our hearts.
Through the experiences of everyday life, the Holy Spirit wants to build
a deep assurance in our hearts of faith and trust.

The Born Again Experience |
10 pages | Patricia Dailey |
|
This sermon looks into the born again experience. Jesus said that unless
you are born again, you cannot see nor enter the kingdom of God. To enter earth you were born

spiritual birth — and that spiritual birth comes from God. This second birth also frees
you from enslavement to sinful lusts and habits.

Jesus: The Only True Light |
10 pages | Wayne Dailey |

Multitudes of people live in spiritual darkness. They grope around, trying

Having the Right Attitude Toward Souls
and the Truth |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
What's your attitude toward souls? Do you have a burning desire to
reach out to them, or are you taken up with other things? Are you bold
or are you ashamed to tell others about Jesus?
How about your attitude to the Truth of God and His Word? How seriously do you take it to heart? This sermon looks at the Apostle Paul's writings and his heart toward souls. Let it do an "attitude check" on you. Let it motivate you to a Holy Ghost led "attitude adjustment," if necessary, so you may be more fruitful for the kingdom of God. |
||
Shining Brightly |
11 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Jesus taught us to let the light of God shine brightly
out to people all around us, like a candle set on a candlestick to light
a house. In a world darkened with sin, destined for the looming judgments
of God, the only light shining into its utter darkness is the faithful
testimony of Christians proclaiming the truth of the gospel light. This
sermon exhorts us to follow the example of John the Baptist, whom Jesus
called a bright and shining light.
|
||
Godly Sorrow |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Godly sorrow causes a person to feel truly sorry
for a life of sin, a life displeasing to God. And godly sorrow moves a
person to repentance, so that he seeks God's forgiveness and help in turning
to a life of righteousness. One of the greatest mistakes of men is to
refuse to acknowledge their hopeless condition of sin; their refusal only
prolongs their suffering, even to eternity. But what a wonderful experience
when godly sorrow brings repentance and a changed life: God's grace lifts
the burden of sin and fills the heart with joy. This sermon is directed
to those who feel the sorrow and weight of a sinful life and are searching
for a lasting answer.
|
||
Hope |
18 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The "good news" of the Gospel message
is the only true source of hope for anyone. No other message can satisfy
the need of every soul for liberty from the bondages of sin and hopelessness.
Christians have experienced the wonderful gift from God of sins forgiven
and a hope brighter than we could have imagined. We must now spread the
hope in our lives to others who are yet laboring through a life of despair.

So Send I You |
16 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
To work effectively for God in these Last Days will
require that we have the power of God. But we can aspire to such anointing
only if we are willing to pay the price of self-denial taught through
word and example by our Master. Jesus wants to empower us with His anointing,
but we must first consecrate ourselves to the Father's will, drinking
the cup of suffering and sacrifice as He sees fit. Our best example of
the life God wants us to live is that of Jesus Himself, as you will see
in this sermon.

Was Lost |

Pursuing God Wholeheartedly
|
14 pages | Patricia Dailey |

Peace of mind and freedom from worldly lusts
are among the many blessings gained from seeking God. Many people are
trapped in debt, discontentment and unrest because their hearts seek after
fleshy things that don't satisfy. Those who seek God find true fulfillment
and are also blessed with natural blessings. King Asa prospered
when he sought God with all of his heart. When he later strayed away and
refused God's correction, He died in dishonor. May we learn the important
lesson to seek and serve God wholeheartedly every day.

Jesus commended Mary for her desire to sit at His
feet and hear His words. Daniel faced the lion's den because he determined
to spend time in prayer in the face of certain punishment. These believers
give us powerful examples of the importance of spending time in the presence
of God. In our daily lives we can be distracted or drawn away from prayer
by many things, including an unsaved spouse. In the face of such opposition,
it is important to remember the great spiritual and natural benefits of
a consistent, daily habit of prayer: a more spiritual life, a more peaceful
home, a more effective witness of God in your life.

Mary and Martha |
15 pages | Wayne Dailey |

The two sisters both loved Jesus, but they expressed
their love differently. Mary sat at the feet of Jesus in adoration and
edification, while martha worked so hard to serve Him that she became
weary and resentful. Jesus told Martha that Mary had made the better choice.
Likewise Jesus corrected the Ephesian Church for having lost sight of
their love for Him in the midst of their many good works.

Be Ye Thankful |
12 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
Christians should be thankful to God for our many
blessings. But too often we are not. A telling illustration of the thankful
and the unthankful is the Gospel story of the ten lepers whom Jesus healed,
but of which only one returned to give thanks. This exhortation will point
out the importance of praise and thanksgiving in a Christian's life.

The Sacrifice of Thanksgiving |
18 pages | Wayne Dailey |

This sermon is both a Bible study and an exhortation
on the spiritual merits of showing gratitude and praise to God. The Scriptures
offer many exhortations and reasons for Christians to have thankful hearts,
greatest among them the work of Jesus Christ on Calvary to redeem us from
eternal perdition to eternal fellowship with Him. A trademark of our time
is the self-centered "gimme" attitude of many; but the mature
disciple of Christ ought to display continuously a heart-felt thanks to
our gracious God.

Hunger and Thirst |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
This sermon is a heart-felt appeal for Christians
to develop a great desire for a very personal and intimate relationship
with Jesus Christ. It is in that kind of relationship that both the Lord
and the believer find satisfaction. And the primary way to develop such
a rich communion is in a consistent daily prayer life, in which a two-way
communication can flourish. If you've struggled to establish a good habit
of daily prayer, you may find encouragement in this message.

Garment of Praise |
13 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
A true hallmark of a deep spiritual experience is
the joy and praise manifest in a Christian's life. Pastor Dailey examines
three Old Testament passages (Isaiah 61, Joseph's many-colored coat in
Genesis 37, and Tamar's colorful garment in II Samuel 13) to highlight
the work of God in transforming the ash heap of a ruined life into beauty
and praise in a Christian.

|

Pentecost |

Pentecost — the birth of the church. And it
was a powerful beginning! God never intended for that fire, ignited that
day, to fizzle out. But it has, repeatedly, over the centuries. God wants
that fire to be burning brightly in our day. What will it take? Read this
sermon by Pastor Wayne Dailey to find out what elements worked together
on the Day of Pentecost to bring about such a powerful effect.

So Send I You |

To work effectively for God in these Last Days will
require that we have the power of God. But we can aspire to such anointing
only if we are willing to pay the price of self-denial taught through
word and example by our Master. Jesus wants to empower us with His anointing,
but we must first consecrate ourselves to the Father's will, drinking
the cup of suffering and sacrifice as He sees fit. Our best example of
the life God wants us to live is that of Jesus Himself, as you will see
in this sermon.

are explained in detail in this message dating back to the 1970's.

In the 1970s, the Lord took Pastor Wayne Dailey aside for a period of time and opened up to him Scriptures concerning the last days. The teaching presented in these seven messages came out of that time of visitation and is perhaps more relevant today than it was then. Part 1: This message looks at the Antichrist and how he will impact Israel, the church and the rest of the world. It addresses when the rapture of the church will occur relative to the Great Tribulation and instructs us on how to be ready — and not left behind — when Christ returns for His church. Part 2: Jesus said that as it was in the days of Noah, so it would be when He returned. This message compares the conditions in Noah's day to those of our day. Back then, God judged the world by flood. Soon, God will bring judgment on this world by fire. But as God made a way of escape for people in Noah's day, He has made one for us today. It's up to us to take advantage of it. Part 3: Jesus also compared the last day conditions to the time of Lot, when God destroyed the people of Sodom for their wickedness and Lot nearly lost his life. This message looks at the conditions of Lot's day and the bad choices Lot made. They serve as a warning for us so we can escape the pending judgment of God in our day. Part 4: A comprehensive look at Jesus' prophetic words concerning the last days; also at the fulfillment of those words, as evidenced by the events that have occurred since those words were spoken. It is critical for us to be ready for Jesus' second coming, which could happen at any time. Part 5: This message provides a detailed description of the Antichrist and his activities. The Abomination of Desolation, the little horn, the beast with seven heads and ten horns, and the mark of the beast are all examined. This message also explains why the world — and multitudes in the church — will be deceived and ensnared by Antichrist to their own destruction. Part 6: Mystery Babylon, the great whore, the beast, the woman sitting upon it, the seven heads, the ten horns, the city set on seven mountains: These are some of the mysteries that are found in the Book of Revelation and explained in this message. Part 7: The rapture (catching away) of the church out of a sin-filled world by Jesus Christ comes just before the Day of the Lord, a time of unprecedented calamities followed by final judgment with fire. |

Know These Wicked and Evil Forces |
23 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
In 1988 the Lord spoke to Pastor Dailey in a series
of visitations to reveal the attack of the spirit of antichrist against
the Church. This attack will be very subtle and very effective, and has
already begun its wicked work in our day. These visitations are both a
revelation to the Church, and a warning of things to watch for.

The Day of the Lord
|
8 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The day is approaching when the great judgments
of God will fall on the earth. These are the calamaties described in detail
in many different passages in the Bible, some of which are reviewed in
this sermon. The best defense we have against the coming troubles is to
be ready at all times for the Second Coming of the Lord, when He returns
to rescue away His beloved Church. The Lord warned many times that we
should be ready at all times, because His coming would be sudden and unannounced.

Found Watching and Waiting
|
14 pages | Wayne Dailey |
|
The words of Jesus recorded in the Gospels of Matthew
and Luke proclaim solemn warnings about the last days of our era. Consistent
with Old Testament examples and other New Testament exhortations, the
Lord described the signs of His return and the severity of the subsequent
calamities that will befall the whole world. This sermon exhorts us to
live soberly, live ready, live expecting, and offers practical advice
on how to avoid dangers commonly plaguing God's people today.

The First Epistle of John |
6 lessons | Wayne Dailey |
|
In this first epistle, the apostle John deals with one of the most
important issues in the Bible, and the most important issue that affects us personally:
our eternal destiny. Why would John address this letter to people who had already professed
faith in Jesus Christ? He wanted them to examine themselves — as he would us —
to make sure they really possessed what they professed. Whether you're a Christian or not,
it will be well worth your time to go through this Bible study carefully and prayerfully.
It consists of six lessons plus quizzes, both of which can be done online or printed.
